BDO Corporate Finance advises European Commission on Research & Innovation
07 August 2020
BDO Corporate Finance kicked off this week with the 'Horizon Results Booster' program from the European Commission. The objective of the project is to increase the dissemination of the Research & Innovation results by clustering projects of similar or complementary results (European, national and regional funding) to increase their exploitation potential and their market access capacity.
The support will be provided through tailor-made services:
- help and guidance in the creation of a portfolio of projects, a dissemination strategy for these projects and their Exploitation plan;
- support services in the development of business plans;
- assistance, coaching and mentoring for go-to-market activities;
- reports on Dissemination and Exploitation (D&E) in the Union.
The consortium partners including META, Trust-IT Services, Icons, Ecorys and BDO Corporate Finance will mobilize more than 200 experts to guide the researchers to generate impact on society, economy, environment and policymaking.
BDO Corporate Finance will specifically deliver expert support for the development of business plans through financial modelling support. This will assist beneficiaries for funding (financial instruments for start-ups, crowdfunding), attracting investors (venture capital, angel networks) and organizing start-up operations (incubators, management support). The 4 year service implementation timeframe of the Horizon Results Booster program started in July 2020 and is expected to end in June 2024.
