Challenge

A Regional Public Transport Company has an annual returning project to extend the transport ticket of the 65+ passengers group. However, this project requires some laborious manual work that needs to be done outside the regular working hours to minimize the impact of the process on the information system. Due to time and budget constrictions, this project could not be automated by using traditional methods.

Approach

Using our “RPA as a Service” offering, BDO Digital automated the payment invitation process to run fully automatically at night and during the weekends.

Results

The reduction in workload through RPA on both on the workforce and systems resulted in a clear double digit ROI.
