Once again, BDO Corporate Finance ranks #1 as M&A advisor in the 2017 small-cap ranking in Belgium

The annual Thomson Reuters ranking, the reference for investment banking and corporate finance advisory, ranks BDO Corporate Finance as number 1 M&A Advisor in the small cap ranking in Belgium (deals valued up to USD 50m). In 2017, BDO Corporate Finance advised 19 disclosed transactions, hereby maintaining its position as top-tier advisor for more than three years.

Moreover, Thomson Reuters ranks BDO as the 3rd financial advisor in the Benelux for both the small-cap and mid-cap transactions (deals valued up to USD 500m), which shows a strong presence and dedication of BDO to the deal advisory industry, focusing in particular on SME’s and family-owned businesses.   

On a global level, BDO has worked on disclosed 1.200 deals (of which 30% are cross-border) with a total value of USD 55bn.

Given these results, Thomson Reuters named BDO as 4th M&A adviser worldwide, while Mergermarket identifies BDO as the 4th due diligence provider in the world.

The Corporate Finance team of BDO Belgium is composed of 35 professionals who advise clients across the country through its network of 10 offices. Throughout 2017, the team completed more than 200 Corporate Finance assignments amongst its four streams : Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Due Diligence, Valuation and Financial Advisory & Modelling.
