Groupe Jean Nonet

Building a legacy with strong roots

Founded in 1958 by the grandfather Nonet, Groupe Jean Nonet has grown from a small local business into a respected Namur-based company, specialising in road construction activities. Now led by the third generation, the company is managed by siblings Simon, Marie, Claire and François Nonet. They have maintained the focus on quality, sustainability and growth while respecting the company’s deep-rooted family values.

A shared vision for growth

For Groupe Jean Nonet, staying ahead means adapting to changes while keeping a clear focus on the future. “The interests of Groupe Jean Nonet always come first,” says Simon Nonet, CEO. “We share a common conviction to drive the company forward, each bringing our own expertise while fostering a respectful and collaborative work environment.” This unity is especially important as the company navigates its growth trajectory, expanding across five sectors with a team of 385 people.

Fostering talent for a sustainable future

The company places great emphasis on developing its workforce, ensuring that employees have the training and support they need to succeed. “We want to know what our employees think of us and whether their experience has changed their previous image of the company,” explains Simon Nonet. “The survey shows that they are very familiar with the Group's DNA, its mission, its vision and its values. We also make a point of communicating our results regularly. This way, employees feel more involved and stay longer.”

Looking ahead

With a growing presence in sectors like recycling and access control, Groupe Jean Nonet is committed to itegrating sustainable practices into its operations. This includes exploring new recycling technologies and reducing their carbon footprint through initiatives like solar panel installations.

We are always looking for ways to innovate and reduce our environmental impact.
