David Lenaerts

David Lenaerts is a certified auditor and Audit Partner at BDO Belgium. With over 20 years of audit experience, he has worked extensively in both the profit and non-profit sectors. David currently leads the ESG Assurance team, where he leverages his comprehensive knowledge in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) matters. 

Over recent years, David has developed a deep understanding of ESG, enabling him to support clients in implementing ESG strategies, with a particular focus on Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and EU Taxonomy compliance. His expertise allows him to provide valuable insights to clients navigating these complex requirements.
