Executive summary
Evy Borry joined BDO in 2010 and has built more than 16 years of experience in audit and assurance engagements for both national and international clients. She became Partner in the Audit & Assurance department in 2020 and currently serves as IFRS Country Leader.
Throughout her career, Evy has worked with companies of various sizes across a broad range of industries, including technology, ICT, life sciences, manufacturing and professional services. Her expertise is primarily focused on international and publicly listed groups reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), including companies listed on both Euronext and NASDAQ. As a result, she has extensive experience with audits performed in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA), PCAOB standards and SOX compliance requirements.
Within BDO Belgium, Evy acts as engagement partner for a wide portfolio of national and international audit clients and advises on complex IFRS matters. She has significant experience supporting listed entities and multinational groups with financial reporting, audit and regulatory compliance challenges.
Evy leads the International Financial Reporting Advisory Group of BDO Belgium, providing IFRS technical support to audit and advisory engagements. In addition, she is an active member of the BDO Global IFRS Practice Group, allowing her to leverage international expertise and contribute to the development of consistent IFRS positions across the global BDO network. She also teaches IFRS-related courses within the BDO Academy training programme. Evy became a Certified Auditor in 2020.
