Gert Maris

Gert has an extended audit experience of more than 15 years in auditing statutory and consolidated accounts of international groups (including quoted companies) and local clients in several industries. He is in charge of various international audits and due diligence engagements, including IFRS and US GAAP reporting. As a Certified Internal Auditor, he is a specialist in improving internal procedures and controls within Belgian companies covering all areas of the business from accounting systems improvements to strengthening internal controls and improving efficiency. He has also experience in complex due diligence engagements. He has extensive experience in dealing with complex and high profile assignments, including high quality reporting to supervisory bodies and audit committees.

Gert has a hands-on client service and pragmatic approach and has demonstrated his added value in serving a large number of publicly quoted and private companies.
