Indra Vonck

Indra joined BDO Belgium in 2025, where he serves as partner within the Strategy, Growth and Innovation practice.  

He leads the Transport and Logistics industry practice, leveraging his extensive experience in advising maritime stakeholders and port authorities across the public and private sectors. Before joining BDO, Indra led the Global Port Centre of Excellence at Deloitte and served as COO of MTBS, a maritime boutique strategy firm. 

Indra holds a PhD in Maritime Economics with a specialisation in port development from the University of Antwerp and Solvay Business School. He is also a professor at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, teaching European Economics. Indra has published in multiple academic journals and is frequently invited to speak at maritime and transport conferences, both as a keynote speaker and moderator.
