Michaël Van Cutsem is a Partner at BDO and responsible for the public sector in Wallonia and Brussels. As a professional advisor and experienced evaluator, he is one of the methodological references in Wallonia and Brussels regarding government policies (design, follow-up, evaluation). He also has an extensive experience in strategic planning for public actors.
As a city planner by training, Michaël regularly takes part in assignments related to the determination, execution and evaluation of territorial and thematic strategies. Furthermore, he teaches at the UCLouvain, providing students with strategic insights in the course ‘Prospective stratégique’, and at the École Régionale d'Administration Publique / Gewestelijke School voor Openbaar Bestuur (ERAP/GSOB) (course: ‘Plan Stratégique Transversal’ / ‘Transversaal Strategisch Plan’).
Thanks to his knowledge on several collective intelligence tools, he leads meetings and seminars.
