Natalie Bastiaens

Natalie Bastiaens is a Partner in the Legal department at BDO. She holds a Master of Law from the University of Antwerp and a Master after Master in European Law from the University of Bologna, Italy. She works with local and multinational companies on various assignments, including due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and negotiations with union representatives. Natalie's experience also encompasses handling individual and collective dismissals, company closures, and the operation of Works Councils. 

In her role, Natalie and her team assist and advise clients on employment and social security-related issues. They draft employment contracts, work regulations, dismissal letters, settlement agreements, and provide guidance in social election procedures. They also offer specific legal advice on wage policies and salary optimization. 

Natalie is passionate about addressing each business’s unique needs, delivering practical solutions that support their operations. Her extensive knowledge of social and employment legislation has led to her co-authoring several publications for Wolters-Kluwer and Indicator.
