Jan Vermeersch

Jan Vermeersch is a Partner at BDO Belgium, having joined the company in 2014. He holds a Master of Science in Information Management and a Master of Science in Industrial Sciences (Automation) from KU Leuven. Jan has further enhanced his expertise with certifications in project management, IT service management and financial management from Vlerick Business School. 

Jan began his career as a consultant in the Technology team at BDO Digital, focusing on automation and data (science) projects. With a keen interest in how technology can enable & optimise business processes, he specialised in aligning business applications with business requirements for clients across various sectors, including logistics. 

As a Partner in the Digital Advisory team, Jan leads the AI, data & automation team. He is responsible for guiding multiple teams in automating & optimising business processes. His work involves leveraging existing & emerging technologies such as Data & Integration platforms, (Generative) AI, RPA, & Test Automation, so businesses can focus on value-adding tasks. 

Jan's experience spans diverse industries and notable projects, including solutions for Ewals Cargo Care and Aertssen Logistics. His combination of technical expertise and business insight drives innovative solutions that meet client needs and support their growth.
