Walter Vanherle

Walter Vanherle joined BDO in 2017. He has over 35 years of experience in technology advisory, assisting clients with their data management, infrastructure and the implementation strategy of new technologies and subsequent implementation missions.

At BDO, he leads service development and client adoption/implementation missions related to combinations of Data Management and Data Science (Machine Learning/Deep Learning, A.I.), Process Intelligence (Process Mining) and Process Automation (RPA), and CXO advisory services (IT strategy, Data management & Governance, Partner ECO-System Management, Software Selection and Implementation).

Recent projects relate to:

• Market Analyses and Business Case development for the adoption and/or service provisioning of Drone Powered Business Solutions.
• Proof of Value missions for the use of Drones for Warehouse Management (with the use of A.I techniques in computer vision).
• The use of Process Mining supporting BDO's continuous Audit Mode, Risk Advisory Process Compliance Analytics, Process Performance analysis and improvement missions.
• Design and implementation of Digital Data Twins (Business Process and Business Data Related) for Process Performance and Automation.
