Erik Van den Broeck (MRICS)

Erik Van den Broeck is Industry Lead Real Estate & Construction (REC) at BDO Belgium. Within Deal & Valuation Advisory, he is also responsible for the Infrastructure & Project Finance Team (I&PF). In this role, he works on different kinds of real estate and infrastructure projects, project financing, public-private partnerships, and model audits. 

Together with the I&PF team, he supports companies with financial modelling (FAST-compliant), real estate valuation, real estate legal contracting, due diligence, fiscal and accounting analysis, digital solutions, etc. Typical clients of his are real estate and energy project developers, construction and maintenance companies, suppliers to the sector, financial institutions, private equity and public entities. 

As an expert in project financing, Erik has been involved in numerous major PPP projects for infrastructure works (roads, tram lines, tunnels, bridges), inner-city developments, complex buildings (sports halls, swimming pools, police stations, prisons, social housing, healthcare real estate) and renewable energy (such as onshore and offshore wind farms, BESS, PV, biomass).
