Federal government delegation decides on new socio-economic measures to support companies during the corona crisis

Last week, the federal government delegation approved a series of socio-economic measures to give companies and their employees a boost. Among other things, the following matters were decided:
Extension of certain measures
Temporary unemployment due to corona force majeure, transitional rights (eased replacement income)for the self-employed and corona parental leave will be extended until the end of August 2020.
Equalisation days of temporary unemployment for holiday entitlements
Days of temporary unemployment due to force majeure caused by Covid-19 shall be assimilated to 'days of normal actual work' for the purpose of calculating the duration of holidays and holiday pay.
In order to boost purchasing power, there will soon probably be a consumption voucher of EUR 300. Employers can grant this voucher to employees for the purchase of goods and services in the the hotel and catering industry, cultural sector, ... The cheque would be 100% deductible and tax free.
Industries in difficulty
Industries in difficulty, including the hotel and catering industry, can even invoke the transitional rights (eased replacement income) for the self-employed and temporary unemployment until 31/12/2020.
